Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. Identification

These terms govern the use of the LocalClip apps and this website, developed by Blasmani Titi. Contact: webbusinesstoolspro@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using LocalClip you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use the app.

3. Service description

LocalClip lets you sync clipboard text, screenshots, images and files between an Android phone and a Windows PC over your local Wi-Fi network, or in direct mode, where your PC creates its own access point (an ad hoc network) and your phone joins it by scanning the QR code. Direct mode requires neither a router nor an internet connection. If your PC is connected to the internet when you turn direct mode on, LocalClip first tries to create that access point through Windows' Mobile Hotspot feature: when that works, it shares that connection with your phone and it replaces the network name and password configured there with the ones LocalClip generates. If Mobile Hotspot is not available, LocalClip creates a plain access point instead, with no internet sharing and without changing your Mobile Hotspot settings.

It also includes LocalClip Board, an Android keyboard with clipboard integration, suggestions and productivity tools. Some of its AI features are optional and require you to add your own API key from a third-party provider; the use of that provider is governed by that provider's own terms.

4. Requirements

You need a compatible Android device and a compatible Windows PC. Over Wi-Fi, both devices must be on the same local network; in direct mode, your PC must be able to create an access point (an ad hoc network) that your phone joins. Pairing requires scanning the QR code shown by the Windows app.

5. Permitted use

You may use LocalClip for personal and professional purposes on devices you own or are authorized to use. You are responsible for keeping your paired devices under your control.

6. Prohibited use

You may not use LocalClip for illegal activities, to infringe third-party rights, to transfer malicious content, to attempt to intercept other people's transfers, or to reverse engineer the protocol in order to impersonate a paired device.

7. Permissions and configuration

The apps request only the permissions needed to operate. On Android these are: local network and Wi-Fi access, a foreground service and a wake lock, notifications, vibration, the camera to scan the pairing QR code, access to your images — which, if you turn on the optional screenshot detection, includes reading the details of recently added images in order to identify screenshots — internet access (used for the ads, for purchases and for the optional cloud AI features, not for synchronization), Google Play billing, the advertising identifier permissions required by Google AdMob and, where available, the system's on-device AI service. The Privacy Policy explains what each one is used for. You are responsible for configuring your devices and networks. Revoking a permission may disable the related feature.

8. User content

You are solely responsible for the content you transfer between your devices. LocalClip does not monitor your content and does not store it in the cloud; everything stays on your devices.

9. Availability and compatibility

Features may change, improve or be removed between versions. Transfer speed depends on your network, your devices and the environment. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device or Windows/Android version.

10. Ads, payments and premium features

The Android app may include ads. The app may also offer Premium, an optional subscription that removes ads and lets you set your own photo in the central space. Premium is sold through Google Play as a monthly (US$3) or annual (US$25) auto-renewing subscription; Google Play shows you the exact price in your currency before you confirm. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it beforehand, and you can cancel at any time from the subscriptions section of your Google Play account, keeping the benefits until the end of the period you already paid for. When the subscription ends, ads return and the custom photo is removed from the app. If prices change in the future, active subscribers keep their current price until their next renewal. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play or Microsoft Store under their own terms, and refunds follow the policy of the store you bought from; prices and availability may vary by region.

11. Intellectual property

LocalClip, its name, logo, interface and software are protected by intellectual property rights and remain the property of the developer. These terms do not grant you any license beyond the personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the apps.

12. Warranty disclaimer

LocalClip is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of profits arising from the use or inability to use the app.

14. Indemnity

You agree to hold the developer harmless from claims arising from your misuse of LocalClip or your breach of these terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using LocalClip at any time by uninstalling the apps. We may suspend or discontinue the service, or parts of it, in case of violations of these terms or for technical reasons.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Peru.

17. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms when the service evolves. The current version will always be published on this page; continued use after changes implies acceptance.
